Nazarene School of Natural Sciences is an independent school which was founded at Thohoyandou in 1991 as a Crèche with 87 children, one teacher and one carer. In 1995 the school introduced grade R and in subsequent years it introduced other grades until grade 12 in 2007.
The school was founded by the Rev. Malindi Meshark Mudau (who is a pastor of the Nazarene Church in the area) who identified the need for such a school in our community. Today the school has an enrolment of 562 learners, 20 teachers, 14 support staff and the current principal is Mr TD Tshivhase.
The school is being administered by the Limpopo Education Department.
